Educator Development and Innovation Team

We provide comprehensive support to empower faculty members in enhancing their teaching and

learning practices across various dimensions and formats. Our work includes developing competencies aligned with the Teaching Competency Framework, offering grants to promote innovative and 21st-century learning practices, fostering the development of future skill sets, and integrating AI into teaching and learning.

We also provide grants for research in teaching and learning innovation, deliver coaching programs,

establish Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to cultivate communities of practice, and organize a wide range of professional development training for faculty members.

STEM Education Team

STEM Center, Chiang Mai University, is an academic unit established to advance learning and innovation

in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as to integrate these fields

with digital skills and educational innovation.


Our primary mission is to promote active learning, foster future skill development, and enhance the capacity

of learners and educators at all levels. The Center serves as a hub for research, development,

and dissemination of STEM education knowledge, operating at the local, national, and international levels.
